Pros

Hybrid schedule and employee events

Cons

First and foremost, the HR department at Accounting Resources Inc. is the epitome of unprofessionalism. Leadership consistently engaged in bullying behaviors, creating a toxic work environment for employees. The constant belittlement was not only demoralizing but also hindered productivity and collaboration among employees. It's disheartening to see HR leadership abuse their power instead of fostering a positive work culture. Furthermore, the same had a penchant for micromanagement. It felt as though every task, no matter how small or insignificant, had to be done their way, leaving no room for creativity or individuality. This approach stifled innovation and made employees feel like mere cogs in a machine. The constant need for control hindered professional growth and resulted in frustration and dissatisfaction among the staff. Another glaring issue at Accounting Resources Inc. is the high turnover rate. There is a reason there are always positions posted in the HR department. It's no surprise given the toxic work environment created by HR management. Talented individuals who could have contributed greatly to the company's success were driven away by the bullying, gossiping, and micromanagement. The lack of stability and continuity only serves to further erode trust and makes it challenging for employees to develop a sense of loyalty or commitment to the company. Leadership's bullying, gossiping, and micromanagement tactics not only create a hostile work environment but also hinder employee growth and satisfaction. The high turnover rate is a clear indication of the company's deep-rooted problems. If you are seeking a positive and supportive work environment within HR, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere for employment opportunities.

The HR team at ARI has more than doubled in size in the last 2 years explaining the volume of positions being posted – we are growing fast! This growth is due to the outstanding quality of service ARI provides our clients as demonstrated by our 5-star google rating and a strong focus on work/life balance, culture and career development which earned ARI leadership a 90% approval rating on the 2022 employee engagement survey. Our team of skilled HR consultants work in a dynamic environment meeting the needs of multiple clients. This fast-paced setting requires client focused team players that have outstanding time and priority management skills and pride themselves in setting and exceeding client expectations. Leadership’s strong commitment to training and career path development assist these professionals in growing and developing into tomorrow’s ARI leaders. This environment, however, is not for everyone and sadly some individuals without the necessary skillset to thrive in this exciting setting do not challenge themselves to grow and develop, instead they leave. It is disappointing that instead of recognizing their opportunity to improve and succeed they instead find it necessary to post reviews that do not reflect ARI’s leadership or culture.

Pros

The only pro was when I got to work from home away from HR management or when they were on vacation and I didn’t have to interact with them at all.

Cons

ARI is one of the most toxic workplaces I’ve ever experienced. HR management constantly belittles employees, calls people out during meetings, and creates a hostile environment. It was so bad that tenured employees apologized to me in my first week for taking the job and warned me about what was to come. Turnover is extremely high, yet management brushed it off with excuses like “consulting is hard,” when in reality it’s the toxic culture driving people out. I’ve never worked somewhere where employees openly interviewed for other jobs in the office, all just hoping to escape. The positive reviews here are not reflective of the real experience, notice how many 5-star reviewed were posted back to back. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Honestly, being unemployed would be less stressful than working here.
