Pay, Career Development, Culture, Politics, Business decisions. All the things you'll expect to be in the Pros section is in the Cons. Pay is almost next to peanuts unless you get into a 'new project' same with the career development. They'll try keep you at the lowest salary at the lowest job description whilst trying to put on more responsibility in reality. Working culture is horrible because it's not consistent. Technology related teams can kinda do whatever they want whilst the customer engagement teams are tied way too heavily on KPIs. Also the new project is too closed off and all their "communication" are announcement based. Even though the new project will affect multiple teams and multiple sectors of the business, including their future career path, or simply put some people might end up losing their jobs outright, they'll only "communicate" only when they feel like to. Everyone is salty or plainly rude to each other and the inter-department communication is poor due to things like this which has been built over time. Politics is plain simple. If you're a "teacher's pet" to a few specific people you'll get your pay and career development which is terrible. If you think working hard and putting in your efforts will equate to pay and career try going to somewhere else. Business decisions are horrible too. They don't want to build and solidify their primary business and then create/develop new projects. They want to can the old primary business and force push their new project. Going all in, both work and money, on a product that's still at its infant stage thinking it'll be a hit product. Also thinking inter-department communication, and work culture can be solved by shoving all of the employees to one building is pretty naive. They done this before but trust me it didn't solve anything. As much as management is trying to change the company in general with the new inner company survey results no one believes that a proper change will be made. Also it might be the case they might just apply the change for the first year and then forget about it going back to their old ways.
