Pros
'Corporate' (it's a small family business with a large 'ish' portfolio considering upper management resources). Owners literally come to work every day as part of that team. They do all the hard work like, well, printing office closed for holiday on 8 1/2 x 11 standard paper, aside from the silly stuff they do handle the hardest stuff as well like evictions, vendor relations, HR, AP, AR and cutting you a real paper check for your pay ...... They love you and appreciate your hard work (see cons for appreciation reference)
Cons
Don't get too excited, you show apartments and do paperwork, paperwork, paperwork, paperwork, paperwork, paperwork, paperwork, paperwork, paperwork, paperwork, oh, and fax in reports or requests for office supplies, maintenance supplies and permission for anything not in the property policy and procedure manual. Special one-on-one attention from upper-management when dissatisfied but rarely, if ever, when you are meeting every demand under the sun is there a peep or acknowledgement. Micro Managed situation. Encouraged to call for help or with questions but when that call is made, asked where you didn't find the answer in the manual so you can go educate yourself should the answer exist (neutral/good idea/bad idea/discourages lazy question abuse-you decide where this goes).
