Pros
Promoted from BDR to AE at Absorb, and it’s been a great experience so far. The company has created a strong culture of support, growth, and collaboration, especially for people looking to develop their careers in sales. BDR leadership genuinely invests in employee development, and there’s a clear path for progression if you’re willing to put in the work. The onboarding, coaching, and ongoing support from managers and teammates made the transition into a new role feel achievable and exciting. Promotes learning through a mentorship culture, plenty of opportunities to connect with peers regardless of team. Remote first is such a plus! The product itself is something that genuinely get me excited to sell as it solves real problems for customers and has a strong reputation in the market, which makes conversations with prospects much more meaningful. Overall, it’s been a positive environment to learn, grow, and build a career.
Cons
The role can be fast-paced and metrics-driven (KPI and activity heavy), which may not be for everyone, but it creates a strong environment for learning and growth.
