      - Co-workers are amazing to work with

      Cons

      Communications and information sharing across multiple sites and functions can be a mixed bag, especially when you don't work at the North Chicago site. Everyone gets overworked with tight and short deadlines to manage. Other major downside is that there is no ESPP.

      When I was hired by AbbVie I sold my home and relocated to comply with their mandatory office days. A week after I sold my home they did a reorganization of my department. My hiring manager was forced to retire, my mentor was moved to another team and the work stopped coming in. I was laid off shortly after. I’m now experiencing housing instability. Thanks AbbVie!
