Pros
- Pay is not too bad (except promotions. Don't expect high pay raise)
Cons
- high stress - working most weekends, not good work-life balance - management changes requirements, threatening worked with termination if they can not keep up - public holidays are always revoked last minute - performance is a bell curve, if you get less then the median on the team then 0% raise and no bonus - no recognition for good work (good work has not gotten anybody promotions) - management takes no responsibility for bad planning - getting promoted = very little extra pay
