      Pros

      You learn how not to behave as a manager. You also learn that the mindset of 1950's America is alive and well in some companies.

      Cons

      If you're an evangelical Republican, then this is the place for you. If not, you'll feel completely out of place. The pay is ridiculously low. The benefits for this particular franchise were minimal at best. We were told that we should feel grateful that the owner gave us as much as he did.

      Pros

      Colliers University (many classes & certifications) paid by our employer. Flexibility, family friendly, community givers. If I've ever needed a tool to do my job better, management has provided it to me. Full benefits including 401K & identity protection. Fun potlucks and get-togethers throughout the year.

      Cons

      No workplace is 100% perfect. There will always be one or two people you don't mesh with, but you can't let that get to you. There are many more great coworkers who make it fun. It is a commercial real estate firm -brokers are money-driven and 100% commission - so it can get stressful at times. Very few boring moments!
