Pros
Decided to re-upload this to give a more honest review * Firstly the Apprenticeship Department are flawless helps every cohort each year get the most out of their course, most technicians achieve a distinction purely down to the quality of training received. Full time staff who have the ability to do any qualification that is suitable in aiding them in their role or transfer of roles for FREE in most cases. Department managers always there to help no matter what the problem is work related or not this leads to teams who care about each other and want to work together to achieve the best work possible. They have a Fully Owned ISO Certified Tier 3 Datacenters Staffed 24/7, Promising In-house Cloud solution which has real chance to grow and be the market leader with a team that should hopefully grow with it both technically and in size. Did have a Massive Knowledge base of all avenues of IT due to the number of solutions and services sold to customers. Benefits Scheme like many other companies Medical Insurance, Tech Schemes and Ride to work all with reputable companies to ensure we get the most out of the benefits.
Cons
3 CEOs in 3 years all with a different Idea on what the company should be doing, Apprenticeship Team had promised us roles since day 1, in dec 22 this was then confirmed to be true again only for the rug to be pulled a month before contract end date no fault of the team, changes hadn't been disclosed above them left them unable to find roles for all the cohort. Lots of Technical long-term staff from the UK Fast side have left since the merger with the feeling being due to the lack of care for most of what UK Fast did. Countless Strategy changes with the last which led to the company removing the offer of Managed hosting which although is a shrinking market cost nothing to the company as hardware is already owned and ready to go, meaning most revenue would have been profit. Once past the team management communication stops the board have no real desire to communicate with teams on anything but the positives, orders come down the chain but concerns don't seem to go up the chain. Complete lack of communication which I have since learnt was a massive salary deficit they declined to tell anyone about Former sacked CEO having conferences on how to inflate a companies value. Relies on first line for various departments to be entirely filled by apprentices which has left clients feeling like service has degraded since the merger which it has but this is through no fault of the apprentices as they are learning technologies they have never seen before. Low wages for sought after roles leaving teams without experienced staff as they left for better conditions and pay Real decline in company moral since the merger with no real communication between the two former companies' teams. Vastly overpriced electric car scheme with no public transport benefits offered such as season ticket loans like other companies offer which seems ludicrous for an ecological focused company.
