Pros
I came from a large fortune 50 company before ALTIVIA and the biggest difference in my mind is that at ALTIVIA I have been freed up to make smart decisions and do the right thing. I am not encumbered with bureaucratic rules that prevent smart decision making (working capital, short-term focused, shareholder..etc). We move quickly and decisively and can outperform the market because of it. Our owner is also very willing to invest in the businesses to generate long-term value which is a breath of fresh air and uncommon in our industry right now.
Cons
ALTIVIA is a flat organization, so there isn't as much career trajectory and formal title changes along the way vs other larger companies. You have to be comfortable growing and developing within role, and as you show more, more opportunity will be given.
