Pros

Plenty companies in the area offer what alten offers, but depending on the client you don't need to speak french fluently.

Cons

Pay will, at maximum, get to 42k per year, if lucky and well considered. Pay starts at 32.7k, which is severely underpaid in a rich and expensive area. Managers don't care about their workers and are only interested in their bonus, which they get by hiring new people. They rotate even faster than the employees. Their salaries starts at 40k, their bonus is of 20k, for their first year. I am not aware of their max. Managers mention trainings which never seem to come your way, yet they assure you that they will accompany you in your growth. They have internal campaigns to raise the glassdoor rating. Some managers are xenophobic. When a bad manager is fired, the rest say they did not represent the Alten values, yet it seems to keep happening. Seems like simultaneously a bad manager is hired when one is fired. They assure you that you will have French trainings if you are not French, but if you don't push for them they will not happen, and if you do, you will have group lessons after 5 months, and hopefully 10 hours of call 1-1 lessons after another 5. These will not help you learn French meaningfully. They overcomplicate expense reports, and even suggest that you are filing too much in expense reports when you go over 80 Euros/month, and you should change them.

Pros

Working at this company has been a truly positive experience for me. It’s a place where I’ve been able to learn and develop my skills, and I really appreciate that they invest in my growth by paying for my certifications. I’m also involved in special projects with high added value, which has had a strong impact on my career development. What makes the biggest difference for me is the way they support me as a mom. Having the option to work remotely when needed is extremely important, and it’s something we rarely find elsewhere. I’ve never felt judged for being a mother—quite the opposite. They understand my responsibilities at home while ensuring that the client is always satisfied. This balance means a lot to me, and it makes me feel valued both as an employee and as a person. Overall, I’m truly grateful to be part of a company that invests in my future, trusts me with meaningful work, and respects my personal needs.

Cons

Due to the global economic situation, salary increases and bonuses have been impacted.
