Pros
Good experience in a lab and looks good on a resume. Good for a first job out of a science degree.
Cons
Lack of tasks. Simply too many people working in the lab, all working less than half the time. Safety was overkill - certain protective equipment was wasteful and time consuming (arm sleeves for working with acids). Having to find a stool to take bins off a shoulder height shelf for example
