Pros

The pay is pretty decent if you've worked there for four years.

Cons

- Terrible work-life balance - Unrealistic, almost ludicrous targets - Your Area Manager is also your HR, huge conflict of interest - Staff turnover has been a titanic problem - constant sickness by your staff due to overworking - Aldi's refusal to give your store more hours - Aldi showed their appreciation for long term staff by giving them a smaller payrise than brand new staff - your voice is completely unheard - no company sick pay until you've worked at Aldi for more than two years

Pros

Great pay Hours were always there The manager at my location is a rare gem. Never had a boss quite like him. Everyone I worked with became like my family.

Cons

EXTREMELY physically demanding. I injured myself multiple times while I worked there.

Pros

+ industry leading wages Associates - $12/hr, Shift Mgr - $16/hr, SMT - $23/hr, Store Manager - $75,000+/yr + great work environment + excellent training + health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k + 40-50 hr/wk with paid overtime Very fast paced so work hours fly by. I loved working at Aldi. The pay was great! Benefits great! Was training to be a store manager so a lot was expected of me but I was totally up for it. My store manager loved my work, associates loved my fairness, customers loved me.

Cons

+ work/life balance + walked 28,000 steps/day!!! Never thought I would be fired for clocking in only minutes late!!
