      Pros

      Hourly pay higher than most areas... although the work is extremely tough, even for someone in shape like me.

      Cons

      Somewhat poor and quick training--I had many questions that were unanswered. Daily task routine was not really explained. Unsafe conditions if you are not tall or strong. The freezer is unbearably cold unless you have on 10 layers. The store itself is also extremely cold and in the short time I was there, had many people complain when they went through my line. Management brushed it off.

      Pros

      Great pay Hours were always there The manager at my location is a rare gem. Never had a boss quite like him. Everyone I worked with became like my family.

      Cons

      EXTREMELY physically demanding. I injured myself multiple times while I worked there.

      Pros

      + industry leading wages Associates - $12/hr, Shift Mgr - $16/hr, SMT - $23/hr, Store Manager - $75,000+/yr + great work environment + excellent training + health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k + 40-50 hr/wk with paid overtime Very fast paced so work hours fly by. I loved working at Aldi. The pay was great! Benefits great! Was training to be a store manager so a lot was expected of me but I was totally up for it. My store manager loved my work, associates loved my fairness, customers loved me.

      Cons

      + work/life balance + walked 28,000 steps/day!!! Never thought I would be fired for clocking in only minutes late!!
