Pros

At Akra Tech, I've had a positive experience as a Python developer. The company provides great opportunities for skill development and learning. Akra Tech also gives employees time to learn, grow and offers guidance during mistakes, which helps with continuous improvement I've never had to worry about job security, which gave me a sense of stability. The work-life balance is good too, I had enough time to manage both my professional and personal life, without being overwhelmed. Overall I'm quite satisfied with my job and the experience I have gained here. it's been a great place to grow.

Cons

There have been a few downs, but nothing particularly noteworthy. Overall, it's been a positive and rewarding journey.

Pros

Good place to learn early in your career Exposure to different types of projects

Cons

I worked here for a long time, and unfortunately my overall experience was quite negative. The biggest issue was the leadership and overall work culture. The environment often felt toxic, with a lot of pressure and very little support from management. Workload distribution was also a major concern. Employees who performed well were often rewarded with even more work instead of recognition or fair compensation. This led to burnout for many people on the team. Another concern during my time there was how projects were staffed. There were situations where clients expected to work with experienced resources based on initial discussions, but the actual execution often involved very junior team members or interns. This sometimes created confusion and chaos during project delivery. Compensation was also quite low compared to the workload and expectations placed on employees. Long hours were common, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance was very difficult. HR unfortunately did not seem to have much influence when it came to employee concerns. In many cases, issues raised by employees did not lead to meaningful changes, which made it difficult for people to feel supported. Employee retention was also a challenge, as many people left after short tenures due to the workload and management style. Overall, the company could benefit greatly from improving transparency with clients, creating a healthier work culture, and ensuring fair workload and compensation for employees.
