Pros

A very experienced Operations and Sales staff, which was nice for working around issues and tailoring solutions.

Cons

Not much in the way of innovation or changing with the times. Was told that we didn't need laptops for Sales because when the Branch Manager did the same job laptops hadn't been invented yet and they "got along just fine." Heard they have gone through some changes.

We fully agree that our company is staffed with experienced sales and operations professionals who work creatively to customize global supply chain solutions for our customers all over the world. Technology is an important aspect of innovation and AIT continually invests in a variety of software and hardware that impacts the entire organization. Also, AIT pursues innovation that goes beyond technology to take on many different forms across departments. For example, our Quality Assurance initiative includes the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) program which helps drive process improvements for the organization. As for our teammates in Sales, the company provides every account executive with a smartphone, a desktop computer and a technology platform that allows for full secure network access from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. Finally, individual offices and departments have the freedom to make investments in equipment as determined by their local business needs. Thank you for providing your feedback.

Pros

Not much can be said when its comes to Pros, I guess they have pizza parties every couple months.

Cons

In the Home Delivery Department, one of the supervisors really likes asks racially motivated questions, meanwhile discounting any issues you bring up to her, While the other one, likes to spread rumors and ostracizes employees she doesn't deem fit. Their manager and director aren't much better. They act friendly when everything is going well, but the moment you bring up concerns about workload, responsibilities, or compensation, you're pulled into a meeting and made to feel like you're the problem. It does not matter if you out perform your co-workers. Not to mention the director has zero clue what goes on. The biggest issue is that management protects its own. If they don't like you, or if you raise concerns about a supervisor or long-term employee, they'll find a way to paint you as the villain. It creates an environment where people are afraid to speak up because they know there's a good chance nothing will be done, and they could end up facing retaliation for trying. *FYI, I am speaking strictly about the "Customer Experience" department*

We’re disappointed to read that this was your experience. A respectful and professional workplace is the standard we expect across every team, and concerns related to conduct, fairness or retaliation are taken seriously. While we can’t address individual situations in a public forum, we do want employees and former employees to know there are channels available to raise concerns so they can be reviewed appropriately. We value feedback, even when it highlights areas where we may need to improve, and we wish you the best going forward.
