Pros

pay is excellent, far better than most non profits.

Cons

little to no work/life balance. no nursing rooms for new moms. no flexible hours. forget seeing your family before bedtime. employees illegally prohibited from discussing salary. Lots of turn-over. "You're Fired" is the organizations favorite phrase. when a long term strategy crafted by senior management doesn't work, they go on a firing spree.

Pros

Benefits are generous and HR continuously looking for ways to support staff. Holidays include both Federal and Jewish.

Cons

There are no cons, HR is great.

Pros

There's no limit to the company credit card you get when taking out politicians for dinner.

Cons

It was portrayed to me that my job would be to lobby support from politicians to enact bills that help people who live in the United States, but after not long it became clear this organization only exists to advance the interests of a foreign state. Very surprised since I was never required to register under FARA.
