Pros

If you come here as a driver hoping to get in the office in an Onsite Manager role at some point Then I would say you probably won't Management here are looking for you to have had a previous track record as an OSM For them to have the confidence that you could do the OSM role If you don't have any previous OSM experience then it is more than likely they will not offer you the role Because they want experienced people doing that job The driving role itself is hard and you face many challenges when Out On Road (OOR) The days can be very long due to the volume of parcels you're expected to deliver The traffic on the road, the inclement Scottish weather and the Amazon delivery process to follow Also your customers don't know when you're coming with their parcels Be careful to look after the van provided because you'll be charged for any damage to the van caused by you And this can make you worse off for obvious reasons I'd only go back there if I could get straight in the office as an OSM and not have to drive first but that will never happen You get a higher daily rate for a week or two in July due to Amazon Prime being on at that time And also from beginning of November and usually ends on Hogmanay due to this time of year being the run up to Xmas of course In my opinion the pay is so good because the job is so tough and hard

Cons

Zero chance of getting an Onsite Manager role unless you are experienced The dark in winter because for about 5 months of the year it's dark before 6pm The Scottish weather The challenges of being a driver and on road

Pros

Great company to work for. Management are very receptive to suggestions.

Cons

One downside of remote/flexible working is not always having F2F interaction with colleagues; but this could be said of all companies that offer remote working.

Pros

Semi family atmosphere, including grapevine that is alive and well; Benefits are adequate given the small size of the company;

Cons

Sometimes management can't make up their minds what they want: start one high priority item only to be pulled off at last second to do another high priority item. So, it would be lack of planning of resources.
