The perks are great with discounted tickets, discounts with commercial partners, thrive days once a quarter, and WFH 2-3 days a week.
The staff are all friendly but definitely a boys club. Also people who have been there for years and so technology is slow to catch on.
Cons
No inspirational leadership in AFL media. Always poorly managed. No overall strategic vision.
You can get through day to day but frustrating when managers are too busy with their own work to get anything managed.
AFL Response
1y
We believe this review is intended for AFL - Australian Football League, not AFL global.
Great resources available for Self-Development
Self-Development and career progression strongly encouraged and supported
Management is approachable and open to feedback
EXCELLENT health benefits/EAP
Cons
Long commute for me, but worth it
Quickly changing industry, so AFL makes changes to stay up on current customer demands - not a negative con, just something to keep up with
