Pros
Wide variety of challenging projects. Looks good on the CV, when you want to move on. Generally a friendly atmoshere in the offices I was in.
Cons
Reduced leave entitlement. Longer working hours for no more pay. The timesheet system. Round after round of redundancies. Atmosphere of fear - if your utilisation wasn't near 100%, you could well expect the chop in the next round of redunancies. Having said that, many people had far more work than they could actually do. Corporate management deceit e.g. when our hours were incresed for no more pay, the email basically said that they were doing us a favour, and that it was what everyone wanted. Also after each round of redundancies you could expect another email from John M. Dionisio saying how marvellously the company was doing. Not good. No training. Some people would stab you in the back to more more money for their cost centre, or to shift blame on to you.
