Pros

Steady income, reasonable amount of independence, reasonable work conditions, very accomodating at times of family crisis, good reputation for fiscal management

Cons

Poor leadership, silos abound among groups, poor quality management, no development plans except for those secretly selected (and the criteria for this is unknown), little recogniton of employee efforts and lots of recognition of financials, poor match between customer needs and product development because developers and product managers don't understand the business
