Pros
Fantastic training for new reps or if you are aspiring to learn how to manage a sales force. The work hard/play hard culture is great for people starting their carreer. I made lasting friendships in this job.
Cons
The culture is very tough. You have to have a very thick skin to survive. There is very little promotion from within because when you are hired into one division and are successful, you have to have permission to interview for the next level division (for example, going from small account sales to major account sales), which means that your manager will lose out if they let you progress. You become a prisoner of your own success. Managers tend to allow the reps who are difficult to work with or a problem for them interview so that they can get rid of them without firing them. This leaves reps who are very good at what they do with little chance for promotion unless they want to wait for a management position to open up. The implementation teams claim to be over worked, but are not very effective at what they do.
