Pros
The people: smart, talented, diverse, hardworking and interesting. Welcome the change in tone expressed by new CEO. Beautiful campus, free parking, too!
Cons
Only senior leadership gets rewarded. How many reorgs should one department be expected to go through in a 5-year period, anyway? Why does it seem it is always the working class folks that take it in the shorts while mid and senior level leadership get 5-figure bonuses (at a not-for-profit no less!). If more employees accessed the publicly available 990 and saw the names and amounts those in "key" positions were making while being given "merit" increases of only 2% year after year, turnover would become a real problem for them
