Pros

Good benefits. Interesting client portfolios.

Cons

Low salaries, limited PTO/flexibility, overtime everyday. They completely overwork their employees, basing availability on # of accounts not size or scope. This makes the team as a whole awful to work with, since many operators spent more time complaining about tasks and workload than actually working. "Brattiest" workplace by a landslide. Tons of processes take way too long and are unnecessary. Sales team is a mess, pitching things that make no sense and each account had to have contract changes of scope applied to it since the sales team just signs what they can. Not collaborative or cohesive.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad you found value in our benefits and the interesting client work. Our client portfolio continues to be a point of pride for us. Unlike many agencies that rely heavily on one or two large accounts, we’ve intentionally built a diversified client base. This creates a more stable, dynamic environment and a safer experience for our team. While we’ve grown to over 250 employees, we remain committed to fostering a culture where individuals are empowered to think creatively, take initiative, and help shape the way we work. We’re process-driven and structured, but we also value adaptability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. To clarify, our time-off and benefits package is competitive and thoughtfully designed. PTO starts at approximately three weeks, with an additional day earned each year of service. We offer 12 company holidays and a minimum of five sick days annually. We also close at 12:30 p.m. on Summer Fridays between Memorial Day and Labor Day. We offer paid parental leave to support growing families, and provide comprehensive, affordable benefits along with opportunities for both personal and professional growth. We recognize that agency life can be fast-paced, and we’re always working to ensure workloads are manageable and teams feel supported. Your feedback is appreciated and helps guide our efforts. We wish you the best in your next role.

Pros

I've been at 829 for several years and have had the opportunity to grow alongside the company. One of the things I appreciate most is the people. The team is incredibly smart, supportive, and always willing to jump in and help. There are a lot of genuinely good people here who care about doing great work and helping each other succeed. I've had the chance to work with clients across a wide variety of industries, take on new challenges, and continue growing my career as the company has grown. Like any agency, it's fast-paced and there are times when priorities shift quickly. The company has grown significantly over the years, which means processes continue to evolve and teams are constantly adapting. That can be challenging at times, but it also creates opportunities to have a real impact on how things are done. The leadership team is approachable, open to feedback, and invested in developing people. I've personally benefited from mentorship, growth opportunities, and the trust to take on bigger responsibilities throughout my time.

Cons

-Agency life can be busy and fast-moving - Priorities can shift as the business grows - Growth sometimes outpaces process, requiring teams to be adaptable
