Pros

7Geese is amazing to work at. It helps me realize my strength and keep on growing new skills.

Cons

7Geese is not an aggressive company that just wants to grow at all costs. People work really hard but it is still a laid-back and a very supportive culture. For people that like super aggressive and competitive workplaces, 7Geese may not be the best fit.

Pros

The atmosphere and culture. From my first day through the door, all I've seen is smiles and genuine interest in getting to know one another. The best part is it's never in a forced way. The true drive to be a company that speaks its own language and gives its employees the freedom to do their best work. The flexibility of the schedule is absolutely huge! This is something that can be huge for someone who has to commute or has a family and/or pets. Company events are very quickly sponsored by the company to help promote relationship building ESOP's are a real nice perk too The typical food, ping pong, lunch & learns and beer ring true but a low key benefit of 7Geese is the office. Being in Gastown and facing the mountain is beautiful, every day. Having a 7/10 gym available for free as well as a rooftop adds to the benefit.

Cons

Being a smaller company, there can be many hats worn however this is never anything that is forced, but rather available to the people that want to with a work from home, the policy comes the need to rely on communication tools like slack which can leave some messengers at the mercy of the person they're trying to get ahold of rather than always being able to find them near their desk. This is something I believe the entire tech world is going through and we are all starting to adapt.
