Typical Corporation that cares more about the C-Suite than the employees lining their pockets - Manager 7-Eleven Employee Review

I’ve worked at 7-Eleven for quite some time, and it’s become increasingly clear that the executive team is out of touch with the reality faced by employees on the ground. The leadership seems to lack an understanding of how to properly run corporate stores, resulting in constant mismanagement of resources and finances. Now, rather than addressing the root issues, they’re considering not giving employees the raises and bonuses they deserve. Despite their inability to effectively manage budgets, 7-Eleven continues to hire more high-level executives, while employees who are doing the actual work bear the brunt of the fallout. Every year, there are layoffs, and yet the company never seems to hold anyone accountable at the top. Instead, the burden falls on the low-level employees who are already stretched thin. It’s demoralizing to see that those of us putting in the effort to keep things running are the ones who face the consequences, while upper management continues to prioritize its own interests. It’s incredibly frustrating to see the company fail its employees while continuing to reward those who contribute little to the day-to-day operations. I’m disappointed in the direction 7-Eleven is heading and wish the company would take a hard look at its priorities and start supporting the people who are actually making the business run.
