Pay Cuts - Unfortunately, due to the pandemic that happened in 2020, there were pay cuts. 31abc did what they had to in order to save people their jobs, and I appreciate that. Many people lost their jobs, but because of the pay cut, some of us didn't. Of course, I am hoping the wage will return to its previous amount as things are on the mend now and it's not easy to get by on a lower wage.
Platform Issues - The platform that we coach through at 31abc is excellent in many ways, but it has some flaws that many coaches are still waiting to be fixed. One is that the writing tool is limited and there is no way to introduce pictures from outside of the application. This can make explaining certain English words quite challenging as our resources are limited to the material in the platform. The platform often has exactly what you need, but if you like to introduce advanced vocabulary, for example, this can be a setback.
Reports - Writing reports can be time-consuming, especially if several are on the same day. As far as I know, we are not paid for writing them, yet they can take upward of an hour if you have many on the same day. I have spent more than two hours after work writing reports in the past, as monthly reports are in-depth and require more detail. Luckily, reports only come around every 6 classes, but it can still be time-consuming if you have a full class schedule.
