Pros

While this company is small, it is efficient in it's onboarding, and ramping up. They have great clients. They're big on learning about diversity and inclusion, although at times it sometimes feels rather forced and not genuine.

Cons

While their onboarding process is great, their offboarding process is a whole other story. They have been very quick, abrupt and harsh in their letting go of quite a few employees in a short amount of time, which serves as a bit of a fear-instilling culture. Employees feel blindsided when there was no clear communication of direct dissatisfaction of management or written or verbal warnings. At the end of the day, like most companies, they are about the numbers and keeping profits up.

Pros

2A is a case study in how to run a business successfully--hire smart, talented people, and nurture a culture where they can and want to do their best work. Most impressive is their ability to cultivate a sense of community with an entirely remote staff--one of transparency, kindness, inclusivity, and collaboration, coupled with a commitment to delivering great quality work. No one competes here. We're all one team committed to setting each other up for success. As a result, 2A is a place where I can and want to do my best work. I know my contributions are valued.

Cons

None that come to mind

Pros

Great benefits and great people. Work life balance is encouraged, but don't get comfortable with that.

Cons

I wouldn't say having a layoff 2 weeks before Christmas is really the mark of a compassionately run company. Neither is framing it as it "not working out" as if it's equal parts the employee's fault and the fault of senior management's poorly calculated earnings projections. DEIB efforts ring as hollow, especially when the diverse headcount always seems to take the biggest hit in layoffs. Not exactly a place to learn and grow, you need to hit the ground running here. It's like any other B2B tech agency, lots of lip service and instability. This is not a place you can feel comfortable for a while unless you are a senior, and even then, who knows?
