Pros
- Okay pay depending on where you work, but it isn't enough in the more stressful houses
- Alright health insurance
- Some really great clients who are funny and kind
- Some good coworkers
Cons
- People do not show up for shifts, so you need to either stay an extra few hours
- They will start you out in "easier" houses before throwing you into the shifts that no one wants due to lack of support.
- They brush off all concerns when you ask for more support
- They have poor safety protocols, with the emergency line being unreliable
- Pushy pushy pushy scheduler with even pushier BCBAs
- Understaffed
- No OT even though we're always very understaffed, leaving some people to take care of more clients than expected
- The company is not loved by any of the life skills coach employees. No one I've met feels that the company is ethical or cares about it's employees
I would be very surprised if this company made it another five years.
