6yWe have a reputation for being fair and honest. As usual, the tutors who make noise are the ones who get caught breaking the rules and getting suspended without pay, just as their Terms and Conditions specify. They agree to these Terms before they begin meeting students on our platform. But they can't accept it when it happens. It's human nature. On average, this happens to one or two tutors in an entire year, and this is one of those tutors.
As the owner, sometimes I think tutors deserve a second chance, so I offered to Skype with this tutor, thinking that if we could have a constructive dialogue and he could acknowledge where he went wrong, I would pay him his accrued earnings and put him back on the platform. He was so angry, belligerent, and threatening that even this simple gesture of consideration was not possible. He had slammed the door shut.
