Pros
*Great for a fresh out of college individual, for networking and getting to know the industry. *High usage of the newest technology and always will to build new ones from the ground up. *Lower level employees very welcoming and accommodating to new arrivals.
Cons
*Complete lack of communication between management and the employees. *Managers will steal credit for hard work or innovation and look for scapegoats on problems or issues. *Office hours specified by recruiter are a lie, it is common to get in at 9AM and leave anytime between 8PM to 11PM. It is so rampant that employees have been fired for leaving before 7PM. *Little chance to advance beyond entry/associate positions. *Workflow between departments is sloppy and inefficient. *Management uncaring, uninterested and in some cases outright rude during interview process. *Complete lack of a training program beyond sitting behind the last person who was hired for two weeks. *Very "throw them in the deep end and see who floats" approach with employees, without any formal training more people "sink" then "swim". *High turn over rate, if you make it passed one-year you are a rarity, most employees move to other companies with 8-months.
