Pros

Sometimes there are free products to take home

Cons

- They do not appreciate staff, they act as if you are lucky to work there, when in fact it's not a great agency at all - Employees are overworked and are given a huge workload and unrealistic deadlines - They have no idea how to lead or manage a team. I was told once, by the owner, if I made one more mistake she would dock my pay - They do not set the team up for success, it's really understaffed - The manager of the Toronto office at the time was a bully. She made employees cry regularly. I believe she has now left and management has got better, but it was a reflection of the owner, that she would employ someone like this and take their word verbatim. - they take resignations really badly, not happy for employees growth in any way - they tend to focus more on things like office decor than their staff - They pay really badly, and you have to fight for the smallest raise - I would only take a job here if you are desperate, it's not worth it in my opinion

Pros

Founder has valuable business insights and is inspiring to learn from Strong, hardworking junior team members who are collaborative and supportive Exposure to high-profile client accounts and influencer marketing campaigns Team camaraderie among peers at the same level

Cons

Senior leadership placed in roles without fundamental industry knowledge (didn't know basic metrics like EMV or ROI calculation) Management failed to support team during critical deliverables while junior staff worked past hours consistently No recognition of team effort (worked well past end-of-day regularly, no summer Fridays taken) Management made decisions without consulting team members who worked directly with employees Contradictory direction and being overstepped when trying to streamline processes Junior employees set up to compensate for senior-level gaps in knowledge
