Pros

Cons

CANNOT TRUST SOME OF THE MANAGEMENT! I also won a trip at our yearly conference, AS AN EMPLOYEE (FAIR AND SQUARE, I might add) AND GUESS WHAT, I was terminated and they forfeited the trip! Thanks Elements!!

Pros

- Upward mobility is possible, but don't hedge your bets on it - Elements is very diverse, and there were no signs of sexism, racism or discrimination of any kind. - Coworkers are great people for the most part - The pay was above average - PTO package was pretty generous... if you actually get to TAKE the time off - Office space looks nice if you like half-finished remodel projects

Cons

- Favoritism is the name of the game here. If you don't fit in, you get pushed out. - They adhere to the rules that they make up on the spot. Goalposts are always moving. - Most of the folks here are "always online" and expect you to be as well. - You could do 99% of your job right, and get no recognition. However, a minor mistake will result in dogpiling by management. - Most managers are nitpicky and micromanage everything - They love to throw the "company family" nonsense around, but will turn on you in a nanosecond if you have a rough patch. Speaking from personal experience, and the experiences of others.

We appreciate your tenure and are sorry to learn the change we have undergone in the last few years hasn’t been to your liking. The pandemic dramatically changed how we work and then in early 2022, we had 3 planned executive team member retirements. We transformed in a lot of ways! Our physical office was remodeled based on employee feedback. We now have a beautiful, modern environment. We expanded to a more distributed workforce due to allowing a hybrid environment. We added new positions and departments when many other organizations were eliminating positions. Additionally, we rolled out our organizational enhancements and Elements of Success. This aligned teams to our updated core strategies that the new leadership team outlined and has helped pave the way for more exciting things to come. Even through all of that healthy evolution, we will continue to bring excellent member service, to invest in our community, and to empower our members to achieve financial success. Much of what we are doing required updates to our goals, new education or re-education on how to better work together and will continue to necessitate all of us working through things together. To stay relevant in this ever-changing world, we have to remain adaptive and flexible. We will continue to seek out and use employee feedback to help us grow stronger now and in the years ahead.

Thank you for your review. Effective performance and development conversations between managers and employees not only help employees understand how they are performing now, they provide insights into what is next. Having consistent career and performance conversations is the best method for ensuring people stay on the right track. At Elements, those conversations happen quarterly and for some, even more frequently. We encourage managers and employees to set up a cadence that works for them. The HR Team is honored to partner with employees on professional and personal career development; we'd love to connect and provide suggestions and support as you seek continued growth at Elements. In addition, Elements has promoted and welcomed many new faces to our executive team in the last 12 months. These new leaders have worked with our existing executives to navigate the best approach for our credit union in the short and long-term. Our new Executive Team considers it a privilege to share more insights on the exciting outlook of the changes we've seen in the past few years and most recently. If you have any questions or suggestions on the changes you've experienced, we value that feedback. Connect with your manager, HR Team, and/or Executive Team. We'd love to chat more!
