Pros

Good training programs. Lots of feedback. A great place to gain a couple of years experience and then get the hell out.

Cons

Extremely low salaries with few chances for pay increases. Almost no opportunities to move up the ladder to managerial positions since they prefer to hire new managers from outside the company.

Pros

Great committed staff working together in a tough environment

Cons

- Toxic inhouse management totally out of touch with and patronising to other staff creates a terrible working environment - Little opportunity for advancement. Super qualified (masters, PhD) people get stuck with "assistant" or "junior" job titles despite several years of service - Salaries are low and increases stagnant - Talented local female staff constantly overlooked by expat management - Long hours

Pros

Intelligent and fun colleagues from different countries

Cons

Senior management do not get along, and employees are often caught in the middle of conflicts Lack of transparency in terms of finance and HR There is an extremely thick glass ceiling - when higher management staff are required, avenues to promote internally are never explored, and outside hires are always made Projects are assigned at very short notice, with unspecific briefs and with very tight deadlines, resulting in overtime work, which is UNPAID
