Pros

Their resourceful and I'll give them that. This Glassdoor page used to be flooded with brutally honest reviews and they've slowly but surely managed to have those pulled down and magically had 3 positives reviews posted in 3 consecutive days. Did i say resourceful? I meant conniving.

Cons

What an absolute PIT! President is this shrill old women who glues images of her face to all the trucks and advertising, versus gluing her attention to her shortcomings as a leader. Money is no object here. Really! Almost no money is what you'll get paid for 8 hours of verbal abuse from both the unsatisfied customers and "senior" staff. As a "senior" staff member, you'll have the luxury of being fired and hired back shortly after with full benefits day 1. It's easy when a couple of these "senior" staff members have the owner wrapped around their fingers. A lot of the techs were really great hard working men. A few of them I'd be scared to let through the door if you knew their criminal background or made them take a drug test at your door.

Ecola Termite & Pest Control Response

Termite Tech, I'm just now discovering this glass door site. If you still are working for Ecola, please come and talk to me direct if you care about the future of Ecola. This is not the best way to get what you want. I always say talk about things that matter with people who care. Go to the person who can do something about it. This forum is hurting Ecola and not necessary. Some people have a problem speaking directly but if we are going to be healthy we need to sometimes step out of our comfort zone and address issues head on. My office and phone are open anytime to listen and hopefully resolve issues. You matter to me and Ecola.

Pros

Not a single positive thing to say. It's been awhile since I worked at Ecola but I still have some really bitter feelings and a lot of good friends that are still trapped there. The CEO is borderline demanding her staff to write positive reviews. I'm speaking out now to ensure past, present and future employees aren't fooled by some false 5 star reviews.

Cons

From the time I clocked in to the time I clocked out I was an emotion wreck. I've been yelled at, cursed at, made fun of (to my face and behind my back) by the other office staff and techs. I tried on several different occasions to bring it to management's attention but they just brushed it off and told me I was "over reacting". I went as far as to walk out and quit several times but they pulled me back in by telling me that they'd terminate the employees who were harassing me and THEY ACTUALLY DID FIRE THEM! But..... they have the owner wrapped around their fingers so she hires them back a week or two later and hides them in the back of the office till they weasel their way back into the general office population with puppy eyes and "I'll never do it again's" You'd think the pay would have been amazing to deal with all the stress that I endured all those years but, it wasn't. Fast food employees get paid more than this and deal with a lot less, I'm sure. This place has a high employee turn around rate with people quitting without notice. If i had to paint a picture of what a person's last day of working at Ecola would look like, Imagine a horrified individual running out of a burning building, relieved to have survived the catastrophe. If you're a person with a high moral fiber and self respect, don't bother applying for a job here. They try their best to break you of your values your first week. If you do find yourself employed here and have a grievance you'd like to discuss, avoid the manager. Go straight to the CEO... If she's there... Which she probably wont be... almost ever... (wanna-be celeb) They're probably going to try and get this review removed (more power to them) in an attempt to hide their shame versus resolving their core issues and making it a more suitable work environment.
