Pros

None. The cheapest, lamest company to work for. Oh wait, sometimes free donuts on Tuesdays. Nice park across the street to spend your lunch hour dreaming you worked somewhere else.

Cons

Subpar salaries. Endless "Friends and Family" nepotism in staffing leads to extreme incompetence and ineptness. So many departments are filled/run by complete incompetent employees. Two types of workers at this company, ones who can't do their jobs and others who refuse to do their jobs. Company is so cheap all computers and equipment are old, used and dated. Company won't spend money to update software or expand work stations. Freelancers beware they'll pay you as a vendor in 45 days of invoicing but they're never on top of it and you'll have to harass them in order to get paid in 60 days.

Pros

The Production Artists are salt of the earth, genuine people with integrity.

Cons

I've lived/worked in Providence, Washington, DC, Boston and New York and have been in the creative advertising industry for over 20 years and haven't seen quite this level of dishonesty, lack of vision, and incompetence in Management. When you couple that dreadful ineptitude with their intense condescension towards everyone who actually performs the work, you have one of the worst places imaginable to spend your 60 hour work week. One night, after a week straight of 14 hour days, one "superior" bought a meat lovers pizza from Shakey's Pizza for the team knowing that one of the honorable work horses was a vegetarian and responded to our uniform lack of enthusiasm with "well, beggars can't be choosers." Literally everyone who I spoke with off-hours hated working there and specifically despised the two main women who arrogantly orchestrated the entire mess. One of them would walk around espousing fortune cookie level insight cobbled together from Burning Man Instagram posts and Gaia documentaries and then - within moments - would coldly tell you to “just deal with it” when an issue arose requiring her input. Just…awful. Oh yeah, absolutely no work/life balance. And everyone shares what is essentially a big picnic table in the center of a noise bouncing brick bomb shelter populated with Mac G5s from last decade.

Pros

Was in the cool Yahoo campus in Burbank.

Cons

Owner had no interest in managing a business, so all the departments were soloed, thus much internal work friction. Also select sexual harassment going on.
