A very backward&"old-fashioned" Japanese company that is anything but "global."
Pros
-OJT (On-the-Job-Trainer) will be assigned to you to help you understand duties he/she has passed on to you (duties relevant to your field). -Encourage workers to attend as much training sessions & workshops to improve their skills and/or knowledge relevant to their job. -Good benefits. -Cheap rent for company dormitory room. -Free public commute from headquarters to Ebara factories provided. -Free language courses (English, Japanese, etc).
Cons
-HR is inconsistent in their employment policies. -Number of hours many work is outrageous (many "pretend" to look busy to do overtime... this makes workers who are relatively new to the company feel forced to work overtime merely because everyone else is.) -Talented&skilled workers are placed in departments that they are not knowledgeable in. -Indirect racism rampant. -Lunch time is too short (45 minutes). Also, food quantity is almost always sold-out by 12:40. Does the cafeteria even know how many work in headquarters? -Workers that struggle with depression are not properly treated.
