Pros

Nice offices. Very friendly and healthy atmosphere. Competent colleagues. Lots of holidays and high value of work-life balance. Attention to family and women. International environment. Many benefits.

Cons

In the Institute for Renewable Energy the atmosphere (and the rules) is more rigid. Is not possible to work fully remotely/from other EU countries.

Pros

Good salary and some benefits. Nice international setting with good help from the welcome office for international employees. Has some level of flexibility on working time and place (Not as much as advertised, but still nice). Amazing location.

Cons

Working groups with too broad a focus. The support and healthy supervision vary a lot depending on who you work with. Maybe it was the institute, but I have seen many stressed people due to workload and insufficient support from management. Too corporate for my liking for a research center.
