      Good if you can follow a fomula that seems antiquated

      Freedom to set you our schedule, as long as you hit the metrics

      Cons

      Felt more like a copier sales role. Do the numbers, knock on doors and make small sales and you are revered. Try and build a network, use relationships and referrals partners with an eye toward long term market development and you'll likely not last. Doesn't matter what you've done in the past, it's all abou what you've done this week.

      1099 Program called "Prove-it"

      Pros

      Allows you total freedom to work within a specific territory as do many 1099 programs. Good company, goods products, good people.

      Cons

      Greater flexibility within the program. Some territories produce slower than others. "Prove-It" plan requires x $ generated within 90 days. Works in some territories; didn't in mine. As a 1099, you work with essentially no cost to the company as opposed to a full time rmployee. That's the same as anywhere else for the most part but each sales situation is different; not cookie-cutter.

      Pros

      I have been a member of the sales team in the Midwest region since 2010 and every year my business and income grows. ENECON management knows what it takes to be successful and can coach you there if you are willing to listen. Training is second to none with a week at the corporate office in Medford NY learning how to not only apply the products but also how to effectively sell the products. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit and would like to represent an excellent product then ENECON is the place for you!

      Cons

      I know some individuals in sales function better with structure and an office to go into every day. At ENECON the sales people will be based out of a home office which can be challenging for some. In addition the new sale hires will be high commission if not straight commission starting out so you will need to put in many hours in order to make ends meet financially. If you are looking for a career with a $100K base salary ENECON is not for you. However if you stay the course and listen to management success ($100K+ yearly income) will follow!
