Pros

There are a few shining starts in leadership positions

Cons

Successfully building and operating a services driven company is not an easy task. If the company adopts proven industry standards, applies repeatable processes, and makes decisions based on objective reasoning, the chances of success increases exponentially. EMW does none of this. For the most part, leadership is verbally abusive to subordinates, there is no accountability, and it is the worst blame culture I have ever experienced. From Program Management all the way to the C suite there is zero professional ethics, no accolades or rewards to stand-out employees, and no interest in career development. From a business perspective, leadership continually makes a mockery of the company's ISO certified processes, has no discipline with respects to risk management or program/project management principals, and has zero understanding of basic business development methodology germane to capturing public sector contracts.

Pros

Driving service to work and housing in a foreign location. You have a job. When you work overseas for them you get the tax free benefit(Something you get automatically anyway).

Cons

Company does not care about how much you have done for the customer/supporting the customer. Company takes no consideration in the out of scope tasks that you have done to keep the customer happy. Site management works in cliques and uses its employees to their benefit with hardly any consideration for the whole team. Remote management is out of touch and does not create an environment where its employees can truly feel safe voicing their concerns. You can quit the same day and not train a replacement or stay an extra month and train someone. You can also be a key player on multiple projects doing the work as a lead while just being a team member, or you can solely support the maintenance and engineering of a new contract this company gets in the interim. Don't consider the company is going to care about this. They DO NOT.

No clear direction of business sought. No leadership. Employees not appreciated or paid well. Benefits poor.
