There are certain companies that perform well in regards to keeping morale elevated, being transparent with employees, and completing exercises that recognize good performance; this company does not. In my short time with emr group I experienced:
1.) my coworker simply not showing up on a work day with no explanation as to why (was it something bad the employee did or was it a cost savings measure?).
2.) my efforts to go above and beyond at several customers within the same business day go unrecognized
3.) management traveling from the area unannounced, leaving me to make up my own priorities
4.) management's attempts at making this seem like a company, yet not investing in the staff, back end business infrastructure, and company staples
5.) lack of expectations by management, therefore setting a tone for failure
6.) low wages, and essentially no benefits to be thankful of
7.) seemed to be an ongoing effort to change things rather than evaluate what's working
There are many businesses that perform similar cookie-cutter managed services support in Arizona. Although emr group tends to market their services towards health care, their services are only as good as their staff, and the owner does not make it a habit of caring. I suggest searching for employment with any company that could easily do what emr group provides.
