Pros

The company itself is great. Great benefits, flexible schedule, half day Fridays, hybrid twice a week, lots of company events.

Cons

The accounting department itself lacked leadership. There is no process standardization which leads to tenure people being allowed to be unprofessional and doing whatever they want like refusing to train others. There is no training process in place except for accounts payable. A lot of mean girl behavior from the tenured employees. Reported to HR multiple times, nothing was ever done to address it. And previously two employees resigned for the same reason. The tenured employees are allowed to not meet deadlines nor fulfill their duties meanwhile they throw their tasks onto the compliant employees. There is also no room for growth if you have a degree in accounting or want to grow within the accounting field.

Pros

EHRA has great benefits and prioritizes work life balance.

Cons

My experience in working with the LA team was predominantly filled with unclear expectations, shifting direction, and a toxic manager to team environment. I took my concerns to HR seeking counseling which led to no follow-ups or coaching (as promised) and worsened the unhealthy work environment. While the company offers tremendous corporate benefits and culture of fun there are those in the landscape architecture management that sorely lack the most basic skills of leading and developing a team. In big corporations this person would lose their job immediately with the behavior and interactions exhibited. I am also aware (after-the-fact) that I am not the first employee who took concerns to HR regarding this manager. If you are looking to get started in Landscape Architecture, EHRA is not the place to start.
