      Pros

      Free product each quarter and once a year from sister brands.

      Cons

      Shiseido let go a majority of the employees in July without any warning or plan. New jobs are posted for positions recently terminated, so employees are just numbers on a spreadsheet. Sales have been down and the people left in charge were responsible for the brand’s downfall. The management dictates rather than collaborates. What once was a prestigious and wonderful employer, it is now a sinking ship led by ill equipped leadership.

      Pros

      When I first joined, it was an incredibly laid back company, no real dress code, trendy open floor plan office with snacks, all employees got along, great company culture.

      Cons

      Upper management has zero clue what they are doing and ran the brand into the ground. Shiseido slowly began showing true colors and their “people first” mentality actually meant “customer first”. Began blaming lack of sales on the wrong people and everyone instead of those responsible suffered. Career growth felt like an uphill battle.

      High level executive senior leader lacked brand vision and could never make a decision.
