One of the worst companies I've ever worked for
Working for Dovida was an extremely frustrating experience from start to finish. The company is completely disorganized, unprofessional, and has no respect for its employees.
I received constant phone calls — sometimes over 18 in a single week — with no explanation, and when I called back, no one could tell me what the calls were even about. Communication is chaotic and uncoordinated.
I clearly stated from the beginning that I was available Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, but I was regularly scheduled outside of those hours and still not given the full hours I asked for. The work is not financially viable — especially since I was using my own car and have never been reimbursed for mileage, even after months of working there.
To make matters worse, they are now withholding my final pay over a course they claimed they would cover. There is nothing in my contract stating I would be responsible for the cost, and yet they are trying to make me pay for it. It’s completely unethical and likely illegal.
I was told constantly that the company is understaffed, yet I was never given consistent work or proper scheduling. The experience left me stressed, underpaid, and deeply disappointed.
Do not waste your time with this company. There is no support, no structure, and no respect for their staff.
