Pros

Nice location working Budapest, although the office itself is really old school.

Cons

A really toxic workplace where I suffered bullying. It was considered normal to scream at people at the workplace, also not to pay suppliers after an agreement. The strategy and the scope of projects change daily, the CEO is a really nice but impulse guy who is surrounded with a lot of old school people in the management, therefore he is influenced easily. They pay in below market also the part of the pay came in an envelope.

Pros

Some people don't work at all, they just get paid, so if you just want to rest, this can be a good company. Easy to get employed Good social life Dumb, but kind and funny colleagues

Cons

SALARY DECREASE. Yes, at this company they actually DECREASED SALARIES in Covid. Incompetent management Missing senior colleagues (everyone with a potential leave this company) The company does not have an office, but a normal flat, which is funky, but utilities are missing. Last minute changes No clear product vision

Pros

The office is located close to Buda Castle. If you like oldschool buildings, it’s your place.

Cons

Avoid them if you would like to do professional work. Management gets into everything, even if they don’t have the proper competencies in different topics. Decisions are not made on a professional but on a financial basis during development. There are no established development processes, micromanagement is a common practice. People management is poor. You are treated as a resource in Dorsum working on different projects in parallel. There is no such thing as teamwork. The feedback system and the proccess for yearly reviews are also poor. The salary is definately lower then the industry standard and there is no global, transparent salary communication. Even they introduced an unexpexted cost cutting during covid, although working hours and workload remained unchanged. Project handling is disorganized, deadlines are tide.
