Pros

It seemed like an awesome company at first because they were willing to train, and my first day on the job there were people passing around a bottle of vodka in the break room. They send you to training out of state, and it's mostly a party trip. It sounds great but then things start to change.

Cons

The management watches people very closely, to the point that they have people in Austria counting your mouse clicks so that they know how much you're using each program. I'm not joking. Supervisors will tell you that they are on your side and that you should always feel comfortable coming to them and asking questions, but when you come to them with questions they treat you like you're total scum, and that they have so much more important stuff to deal with and that you're just another annoyance. They will also stab you in the back because they'll give you a project with unreal expectations and then despite telling you that they completely understand why the drawings are late (usually because the person who sold the project hasn't given you the information you need), they will side with the one who has made the complaint every time regardless of the circumstances. In the last few months, the engineering department has become divided into clicks based on ethnicity or nationality. Everyone else is on their own when it comes to sharing work information, helping each other to get projects completed, or going to lunch. No matter how long you work there, how much effort you put into your job, how much you sacrifice to make things work so that you can keep your job, no matter what you're going through personally, or how much respect you show to your supervisors, they will never treat you with a reasonable amount of respect unless you already have a lot of money and regularly go deep sea fishing or scuba diving in Fiji. If you're a regular lower middle class hard working employee you will get almost no respect, and one day you will be fired for no good reason, or you'll just be treated like dirt until you decide to quit. Something that they don't realize is that when they fire someone, that person was already looking for a way out of that job, and if the management is reading this review, maybe it will help them to know that most of their engineering staff is currently looking for another job because they can't stand the way that they're treated.

Pros

Pro’s? Pro’s....? Oh that’s adorable.

Cons

If you have a scrap of talent or work work ethic, you’ll be rewarded by not being allowed any time off while you watch the other less productive members of your team being given entire weeks off work on a regular basis. They’ll also see to it that you’re grossly underpaid and are shamed if you dare ask for a raise. Oh, and upper management is an absolute gem. They love to stroke their own egos by belittling and degrading employees below them any chance they get. And if you’re not Austrian (the company’s based out of Austria), be prepared to be treated like second class worker with some type of learning disability by company executives. It doesn’t matter how excellent of a job you do or how many times you actually have to correct the critical mistakes of the Austrians who can apparently do no wrong, Doka will still treat you like dirt if you’re not Austrian. And if that’s not enough, your direct managers will apparently lie to you and falsely lead you to believe that they’re on your side when, in fact, they’re actively orchestrating how to get you fired. Here’s the nutshell version: this company’s only interest is squeezing every bit of usefulness out of you before throwing you to the wayside all while lying to you to make you believe it’s your own fault. Avoid this company like the plague that it is.

Pros

This company is run like a family owned one. Within it you have the Austria Clan (company is based in Amstettem Austria) that treats any non Austrian like less than nothing. Their slogans are shiny, but inside, it is a pure dark middle age management style. Outside Austria they can do strange things like violating labor laws, basic business ethics. If you tell them to correct themselves they can launch a plot against you and destroy you. These are the pros... wait for the cons

Cons

Flee it please!!! Run!!! Liars, crooks... and how arrogant because they are the great Austrians who know everything beyond imagination ! I know many people who have judgments of courts against them, but they simply shut down the subsidiary and fled happy not to pay...
