Pros

Tread carefully when reading reviews about DocuTech, as they have a couple employees who are paid to promote the brand. So, I decided to write a brutally honest review. To the pros.. DocuTech does have a few perks: average salary (not great) for the area, moderate health benefits, free beverages for employees, and occasional company events to get away from the daily grind. The core team that handles the daily operations does an outstanding job, and most of them are very friendly. Aside from internal operations, I'd say that DocuTech's professional services team does a great job dealing with prospects and clients.

Cons

Now to the bad... Look no further than the head of the snake - DocuTech's CEO. The CEO significantly lacks any shimmer of integrity, which is well known throughout the industry and even the local community. If I could warn potential job seekers of anything, it'd be to proceed with extreme caution if your job interaction will require you to communicate with DocuTech's CEO. Due to the lack of ability on recruiting (due to the CEO's reputation), DocuTech's executive team has been forced to snipe employees from other local organizations. How did they lure them? Money and fancy job titles. All of the recent hires (in the last few years) have inadequate skills to properly carry out their job responsibilities, which places an extreme burden on the remaining talented team. Luckily a handful of them are management level employees, so they can farm work out to employees who are capable of accurately delivering results. Like many other small businesses, the projects are many and the resources are very few. So, if you factor the hours spent per week in comparison to the average salaries offered, the opportunity isn't that grand. Another minor con is that the building that we operate in is very, very small and not functional.

Pros

There are a few pros - things that I'd label as extremely "trivial". Docutech's building has a convenient location that neighbors the airport and interstate. They do stock the lunchroom with beverages. Adequate work space.

Cons

This place has so many cons, but I'll list a few key ones. First off, the benefits are horrible and pay is below average for the area. The only time you can expect to receive an increase is when you have one foot out the door. Other than that, Docutech is well-known in the community for paying "just enough" to keep their employees off food stamps. They get away with this because of the retail-based Idaho Falls economy and the lack of technical work that's available. Docutech's upper management is completely disconnected from the day-to-day operations, and they're arrogant enough to believe that they know it all. That attitude is portrayed to the mortgage community; Docutech attempts to sell themselves as the "experts", and that their line of thinking is the standard. However, many clients and employees (like myself) have seen through Docutech's lies, deception, and the gross misrepresentation of their inferior products. I've heard the CEO verbally abuse and degrade employees to a point where I'm surprise there wasn't a lawsuit filed. I've worked for many different bosses and management styles over my life, but I've never, EVER seen someone who's more disrespectful than the CEO at Docutech. Docutech has lost numerous clients because the CEO is repugnant. This attitude has trickled down to other layers of management throughout the organization, which is why there's so much employee turnover for such a small company. To summarize for potential (or current) employees at Docutech, I'd highly recommend that you only use Docutech as a short stepping stone to further your career. I'd recommend being a gas station attendant before working at Docutech, but I understand people need to provide for their families. I've seen too many people get poisoned by the culture at Docutech, so please don't get sucked in!

Pros

I really enjoyed my co-workers at DocuTech.

Cons

The Executive leadership is detached from the rest of the staff. I worked for DocuTech for four years and only spoke to the CEO twice. Employees are loaded with unreasonable expectations and pushed until they snap and quit.
