Pros

Plenty of work to keep you busy; home daily.

Cons

Company does not pay OT for working over 40 hours. It's all straight time. Long hours, about 12 to 14 per day. New guys get old trucks. Maintenance dept. works hard to keep things running well, but you can only do so much with a truck that's worn out.

Pros

They pay ok and you will find yourself home most nights. Expect about 2 nights a week on the road.

Cons

This place has the worst equipment anywhere. Not only is the equipment falling apart, but the company puts the blame on you for it when it finally fails. When you call to report a problem, you get to talk to John and he will ignore you and then when he calls you back he will respond as though you are annoying him with your problem. God forbid you report more than one problem. When you do he will tell you, one problem at a time! He expects you to live with your other problems so long as the truck can roll. They give you reels on your truck to unload the products, but half the time something in the system goes wrong so you have to drag heavy hoses, deal with spills and trying to stuff them back into tubes too small to hold them. It's very disappointing. If something goes wrong on the truck, even if their mechanics fail to catch it, get ready to take the fall. They seem to think that having a CDL means you are also a mechanic and you know every problem with a 5 minute walk around. // If the terrible maintenance wasn't enough to discourage you from this place, how about being assigned to a client and left to listen to the client act like a manager who is not subject to basic labor laws. Sometimes company policy isn't what the client prefers, so if you follow your employer's policy but the client doesn't like it, the company will pretend to back you up, but then the client will find every little detail it can to show how bad of an employee you are and ask for you to be removed. The company will find any reason to fire you so they don't have to admit there is a problem. It's all you!

Pros

Company pays pretty good and good benefits.

Cons

Equiptment isn't up to part and if you have to many issues with equiptment then you might have an issue with your dispatch and maint person. If your new and there are problems at the cust then they assume its you and no one else that has been delivering at same cust.Dispatch also has no respect and also have favorites.
