Pros

Culture is everything here. Camaraderie is unparalleled due to the close-knit size. Everything is fairly organized via online systems such as basecamp, and it seemed that most everyone has the opportunity to step outside their roles to expand their horizons and take on more responsibility. Creative feedback is welcome in meetings across all departments, regardless of whether you're in account, planning, or art direction.

Cons

Roles are not outlined according to position. Many different accounts have completely different expectations of juniors vs. directors. Not always are objectives explained in order to employees to advance - almost seems like promotions/raises are more tenure-focused and less accomplishment-based.

Pros

- SOME great co-workers, some of which I have excellent relationships with - friends for a lifetime. - Decent standing within Hispanic agencies - Ability to express one's self, bring the camraderie to work in a positive / professional manner

Cons

- Undermined, disrespected, and wrongfully terminated the former CEO - Warren Harmel. - Management refuses to let go of unproductive / incapable staff members, which drives the bottom line up, make us look stupid with the Client, and creates terrible work. - Perpetuates that notion of "La Hermandad" (The Brother Hood) - a protection racket at work where upper management protects friends above performance and accountability - Hires almost exclusively out of the US (or has had) - most future employees have some kind of preexisting relationship with Upper Management ( e.g. Aldo Quevedo) and are part of La Hermandad - Disrespect process after years of training and implementation - Lack of detail orientation, which requiries more time making changes than it does producing an ad. - Super poor leadership - Aldo Quevedo (now at The Richards Group), previous CEO (post Harmel), Carmen Baez (Omnicom) - Incapable of meeting #$s with Omnicom, which has forced Omnicom to interfere, see how incapable DHP is, and make some management changes - some for the bad, some for the very good. I have much more, but this covers the basics.
