The most actively damaging place I've ever worked
Pros
There are a number of genuinely good people here (just not usually in positions of power). Free fruit provided and drinks on Fridays. Great equipment/tech and nice office space.
Cons
This company talks the talk, advertising wellbeing and work-life balance, but it's a carefully crafted image. The level of psychological damage, gaslighting and manipulation experienced here is unbelievable. Temper tantrums and moodiness from senior execs, sexual harassment complaints are carefully buried, People & Culture acknowledge bullying (to the victim) but whether anything will be done about it depends on the seniority of the perpetrator (less and less consequences the higher you go, or if they're one of the CEO's favourites). Their staff turnover rate is embarrassing and yet, like most other issues, goes ignored. From a purely business perspective, the company has a very flat structure in most areas and therefore provides little opportunity for career growth within it. I cannot express in strong enough terms - DO NOT WORK HERE! Your work-life balance and your mental health are way too important, and this place will systematically and methodically break them down into nothing. I wish I had never worked here.
