Pros
Development Seed is a company with an incredible amount of internal velocity to get up and running on a dizzying array of geospatial problems. The work is extremely varied, working on a wide variety of projects in the geospatial world. The Open-Source first approach is refreshing in a time when many companies are closing the doors on open.
Cons
Working on contact work can be a different experience if coming from a product background but as with all things comes with it's own pros as well as cons.
